On June 2, 2026, our beloved Mia Maya Barrera, just 8 years old, gained her angel wings after a courageous battle with pneumonia. Mia fought with incredible strength and bravery until the very end and was surrounded by the love of her family at the time of her passing. While our hearts are broken beyond words, we find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. Mia brought so much joy, laughter, and love to everyone who knew her, and her beautiful spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
