Support for Mevan’s final Journey to Sri Lanka

With profound sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of Mevan Diyashan's unexpected passing at his residence in Toronto, Canada.

Mevan ventured from Sri Lanka to Canada in 2019, seeking new opportunities and a brighter future. Tragically, he leaves behind his mother, father, and sister, who reside in Sri Lanka, with no immediate family in Canada to support.

In this time of immense grief, the family finds themselves not only grappling with the loss of their son and brother but also facing significant financial burdens associated with arranging for his final journey home.

In solidarity with Mevan and his family, we invite our community to come together and extend their support.

The proceeds from this fund will be dedicated to facilitating Mevan's journey back to his family in Sri Lanka and ensuring the completion of his last rites.
