Hi everyone,

I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend and their family. Their grandma, Mercy Gomez Yliz, has sadly passed away. This has been an incredibly heartbreaking time for all of them, and we are now trying to help make sure she is laid to rest with dignity, love, and peace.

The costs for her funeral and final arrangements are more than the family can manage right now, so I’m reaching out to ask for support on their behalf. Anything you can give — big or small — would truly help ease the financial burden during this difficult time.

Mercy was deeply loved by her family and by many people who knew her. I might not be related by blood, but she has always been like a grandma to me too, and I just want to help them honor her the right way.
