Support for Mercedes' Medical Treatment

My mother has passed away May 12, 2024

My name is Wendy. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my mom’s story. My mom is Mercedes Arbayo. She lives in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico. About a month ago, we had rushed my mom to the hospital because she was feeling very weak. She wasn’t able to walk and had no energy to even get up to the restroom. We learned then that she had an internal bleeding. She had two units of blood transfusions. Thankfully, the hospital where she was at had the blood that she needed. But the cause was unknown. My family gathered funds to help me with some tests she was needing. Since then, my mom has had a total for four units of blood and two units of plasma. Things just recently changed. This morning (5/11/2024), my mom was rushed again to the hospital, and we learned that she is still losing blood and her cancer from 8 years ago had come back. We are asking for your help. Medical treatment in Mexico for the her condition has been expensive and will be stopped if we cannot fund it. My siblings and I would want to ask for your help in this difficult time. Anything helps. I thank you in advance for your help and please keep my mother in your prayers.

Mi nombre es Wendy. Quiero agradecerles por tomarse el tiempo de leer la historia de mi mamá. Mi mamá es Mercedes Arbayo. Vive en San Luis Río Colorado, México. Hace aproximadamente un mes, llevamos a mi mamá al hospital porque se sentía muy débil. No podía caminar y no tenía energía ni siquiera para ir al baño. Entonces supimos que tenía una hemorragia interna. Recibió dos unidades de transfusiones de sangre. Afortunadamente, el hospital donde estaba tenía la sangre que necesitaba. Pero se desconocía la causa. Mi familia reunió fondos para ayudarme con algunas pruebas que ella necesitaba. Desde entonces, mi mamá ha tenido un total de cuatro unidades de sangre y dos unidades de plasma. Las cosas cambiaron recientemente. Esta mañana (11/05/2024), mi madre fue llevada de urgencia nuevamente al hospital y nos enteramos de que todavía está perdiendo sangre y que su cáncer de hace 8 años había regresado. Estamos pidiendo su ayuda. El tratamiento médico en México para su afección ha sido costoso y se suspenderá si no podemos financiarlo. Mis hermanos y yo queremos pedirles ayuda en este momento difícil. Cualquier cosa ayuda. Les agradezco de antemano su ayuda y por favor mantengan a mi madre en sus oraciones.
