My name is Makayla and I’m starting this for my dad. The late morning of Sep 24 (the day before his birthday), my dad collapsed in the bathroom. My brother performed CPR until medics arrived. For about an hour, they did everything they could, but our father passed in my brother's arms.

Unfortunately, with how sudden and out of the blue this was, our family cannot afford both bills and memorial/funeral costs. My dad was a light in all his friends' lives and always the one to give the best and most logical advice. He was caring and so loving. He left us too soon and will never fulfill the many dad duties that were still left to do.

Anything helps at this point as things will go to his memorial costs, then after, any bills that come up, as well as money for simple things like food.
