With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking loss of Melody Star Sanchez, also known as Miles by many, who passed away at just 17 years old. Melody was a bright light to everyone who knew her - a loving daughter, friend, and an incredible young woman with a kind heart and a creative spirit.

Melody was an honored NJROTC cadet who dreamed of serving her country one day by joining the armed forces. She carried herself with pride, dedication, and a strong sense of purpose that inspired those around her.

She was also a talented artist who loved expressing herself through creativity. Melody had a unique sense of style and loved vintage clothing, and 80s and 90s music. She was also a huge fan of sonic the hedgehog, it was truly one of the things that brought her the most joy. She was a big collector of sonic items and created many drawing of sonic through her art. She had big dreams for her future, including one day owning a classic VW bus and continuing to explore the world through her art and passions. Her passing has left an unimaginable hole in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
