Support for Mella, Gabe and Jude Eastman

We are asking for support for my sisters family, Mella, Gabe, their 11 year old son Jude and her growing medical bills. Mella has fought with cellulitis several times in the last couple of years. It has taken a large toll on her health. The last time she had it, she dealt with wounds on her leg that forced her to be immobilized for many months. This of course made her very weak physically, and lost a lot of mobility. She went into the hospital again on March 26th with another infection, which turned out to be cellulitis, and sepsis in her blood.

In order to fully recover, she needs to go to a long term care facility to have her wounds treated and physical therapy to regain her strength and mobility.

As you can imagine, all of this over the last couple of years has taken a huge toll on them financially. The long term care facility will not be covered by insurance like a hospital stay would.

Gabe works hard full time to support his family. This has taken a huge physical and emotional toll on him as well. He has Rheumatoid Arthritis which can easily flare up and be debilitating with stress. Having some financial support would be a huge relief on him to focus on helping where he can to take care of Mella, making sure Jude is going to school and getting his school work that is needed done... while continuing to work to support his family.

Mella has not been able to work for over a year now. Those who worked with her as an elementary school aide know what an asset she truly was to the kids lives that she could touch every day.

Anyone who knows Mella, knows that she would be there to help anyone if she could. She is a kind, loving, beautiful person who has given so much of herself for the people that she loves for most of her life. I have personally seen and felt all that she has given. She took care of me and my siblings from a very young age... she took care of my mom on a daily basis until her death. All of it took a huge toll on her, but she did it selflessly in every way.

I love my sister very much and would love for her to get the care that she needs to get better for good.
