Hi, my name is Melissa. My daughter was involved in a terrible accident at work when a pole slammed into her face. She suffered bleeding on the brain and multiple fractures to her face. While she is doing a little better now, she still has a long and difficult road ahead. She will need facial surgery and months of healing and recovery.

With Christmas almost here, this situation has been especially overwhelming. Supporting her family has always been incredibly important to her, and right now the stress of not being able to provide during the holiday season is weighing heavily on her. Instead of focusing on rest and healing, she is constantly worried about how she will keep a roof over her head for herself and her son.

During this time, she will be unable to work, and my greatest fear is that she and her young son could lose their home while she focuses on surviving and healing. I am trying to give her at least four to six months to recover from surgery without the constant worry of homelessness.

We are humbly asking for any help or support you may be able to give. Anything—no matter how small—would mean more than words can express. Your kindness would help ease her burden and allow her to focus on healing and being there for her son during this incredibly difficult time.
