Anyone who has met my mom, Melinda, knows that she is an exuberant, hard working, and passionate mom and person. She has done such an amazing job raising her kids, and I could not be more grateful to her. There has never been a problem she couldn't help me with, or an obstacle she couldn't talk me through. 

Now, it is my turn to help her. She has been diagnosed with a stage 1B3 adenocarcinoma tumor on her cervix. This means she will need to begin radiation treatment 5 days a week, and chemotherapy 1 day a week for at least 6 weeks. 

Luckily, she will be receiving the best cancer treatment available at UCHealth Anschutz Cancer Pavilion in Denver, and we are very optimistic that she will overcome this, just like she has overcome every other challenge thrown her way.  However, medical bills can start to pile up quickly, and even with insurance, we are in need of help. 

I understand that times are tough right now, and a lot of us are feeling the financial strains from COVID-19, but if you are able to spare any amount, we would be forever grateful. No donation is too small, and every donation will go towards my mom's treatment and making her life easier while she focuses on getting better.
