Melanie, my granddaughter, is currently 31 weeks pregnant and has been admitted to the hospital due to high blood pressure. The doctors are hoping she can make it to 35 weeks before giving birth, but until then, she will need to remain in the hospital for her safety and the baby's. This has been a sudden and stressful situation for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support her during this time.

The hospital where Melanie is staying is 2.5 hours away from her and her husband Mason's home. This distance makes it very difficult for Mason to visit and be by her side, especially since his truck needs mechanical work and new tires.
