I’m reaching out today to ask for your support for our beloved friend and talented hairstylist, Melanie Hess. For many years, Melanie has been making people feel beautiful, confident, and cared for through her incredible work and warm spirit. Now, she needs our help.

Recently, Melanie was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is facing a challenging road ahead with surgeries, treatments, and recovery. As an independent contractor, Melanie’s livelihood depends entirely on her ability to work behind the chair. Unfortunately, when she is undergoing treatment and healing, there will be no income coming in — and because she’s self-employed, she doesn’t have access to disability benefits or unemployment assistance.
