Support for Melani & her family

Dear All

We are now in the middle of the Advent season and the holiday break is just around the corner. I hope you are already (or will soon be) in a reflective Christmas mood and looking forward to a break from day-to-day stress.

Unfortunately, some of us will spend the Advent season differently than they had hoped. This often is related to the state of health of our closest family and friends.

In the spirit of our team's open and transparent communication, I share the very recent news that Melani - the little daughter of Jana Velimova's niece - was given the terrible diagnosis of leukaemia a few weeks ago. Melani is only 2 years old and you can imagine that this diagnosis has turned Melani’s and her family's life completely upside down.

I've thought about it for a long time and also discussed with my team how we can best help – in addition to our words of encouragement and messages to give strength.

Jana explained that her whole family is trying to help wherever they can. The overall target is that Melani can be at home with her parents as often as possible and does not have to be in hospital permanently. To ensure that, major investments are currently needed to prepare and remodel the house accordingly.

This is the moment when we can help as a team!

I have set up this online fundraising campaign with the aim that all of us who want to and can help will have an opportunity to do so. Please bear in mind that this is 100% voluntary and everyone decides for themselves.

In the end, it would be great if lots of small donations could add up to something big and we could give our support to little Melani and her family in this way.
