Mark Thor was a US Army Veteran Officer who served our country with honor and valor. As a Company Commander, Mark dedicated 13 years of his life to protecting and leading others, earning the respect and admiration of everyone who knew him. Mark gave selflessly of his time and experience to help his fellow military service members by volunteering, as a Veteran Navigator with Project Got Your Back for the past 4 years.

Mark struggled with PTSD after his service, and despite his strength, we tragically lost him last week. His loss has left a deep void and heartache in the lives of those who loved him, especially his devoted wife, Megan. This fundraiser is for Megan, who is now facing the unimaginable pain of losing her husband. The funds raised will help cover Mark’s final arrangements, provide for Megan’s living expenses during this difficult transition, and support her in accessing grief counseling.

By coming together, we can help ease some of the burdens Megan is carrying and show her that she is not alone. Mark was a very dear friend of mine, and I am reaching out to our community for support.
