Our mother was a force. She was a teenage cancer survivor. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. A few years ago, she found out as a side effect from the radiation treatment from her cancer, that it had damaged the valves in her heart. As a result, she was to undergo a major heart surgery this year. She was to have double heart valve replacement. A double heart valve transplant is an incredibly rare and intricate surgery. The procedure involves replacing two of the hearts vital valves, which are crucial for proper blood circulation. This transplant was her only hope. The cost of this life-saving procedure is staggering, totaling over $250,000. While insurance will cover some of the cost, there’s still a significant financial burden that her family will now need to shoulder. Unfortunately, due to complications during the surgery, our mother did not make it but the family is still under the financial burden. We would appreciate any help that anyone would be able to help us with for medical bills for our wonderful mother. We miss her so very much. She loved life and her family. She absolutely loved being a mother and a grandmother.
