My wife was recently rushed to the emergency room due to complications from her Type 1 diabetes. She went into diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a life-threatening condition that required immediate treatment and a transfer to the ICU. The experience was frightening and unexpected, but we are grateful for the care she received and her ongoing recovery.
As we focus on her health and healing, we are also preparing for the significant medical bills that are starting to arrive. The costs of the ER visit, ambulance transfer, ICU care, tests and so on, are far more than we can manage on our own. We are reaching out to our community for support to help us cover these expenses so we can focus on what matters most—her recovery and our family.
Any support would mean a great deal to our family during this difficult season. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us more than you know. Life is hard, but God is good. Thank you for considering helping us during this time.
Update: Wow! We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and prayers we’ve already received. We honestly didn’t expect to reach the initial goal so quickly. Because there will still be significant medical expenses related to Kara'a ICU stay and treatment, we’ve increased the goal as we continue preparing for the costs ahead. Thank you so much for supporting our family during this difficult season!
