My mom has passed. She fought a long, hard battle with cancer, but last night the fight ended. My family is in shambles, and we need help. We plan to cremate mom, and it’s costly. I plan to fly home to be with my family, and take some time off work to recoup. However, I do not have money for a flight, and my job does not offer paid time off. I am desperately trying to make ends meet to be able to be with my family during this extremely hard time, and cremate mom.

Anyone that knew my mom, knew she was the matriarch of the McBride family and the most incredible woman. She was my role model and my best friend, and a little British firecracker. She was the sunshine and the glue of this family. We will all miss her dearly. Life will never be the same without my mom, though she will live on in my family’s hearts forever.
