Hello Friends and Family,

This past week, one of our young community members, Max, received the devastating news that he has a brain tumour and will require surgery to have it removed and further evaluated. At just 19 years old, Max is facing one of life’s hardest challenges—something most of us can’t imagine at any age, let alone at the very beginning of adulthood.

Max spent many of his formative years in Cranston before moving to Auburn Bay. He attended Christ the King School, where he built lasting friendships and became part of a close-knit community. More recently, Max has been working hard at a landscaping company, supporting himself with dedication and grit.

His surgery is scheduled for Friday, September 5th, and while this marks the beginning of a long journey, we want to help Max focus on healing - not finances. Friends describe Max as fun, kind, loyal, and courageous - qualities that shine through even in the toughest moments. We want to keep that spirit alive and strong in him.
