Brandy has been my best friend since 2010, and right now, she and her family are facing one of the toughest challenges imaginable. Her 12-year-old son, Maven, was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. This news has turned their world upside down, and Brandy is doing everything she can to support her son through this fight. She currently works two jobs, but with Maven’s treatments requiring frequent travel two hours away and possible hospital stays, her ability to work will be significantly impacted. The costs of travel, food, and everyday bills are quickly adding up, making an already difficult situation even more overwhelming.
Both of Maven’s parents are doing everything they can to support him, but this journey comes with so many unexpected challenges—time away from work, travel for treatments, and the day-to-day costs of being by his side every step of the way. Our hope is to help lift even a small part of that burden so their focus can remain where it matters most—on Maven and his fight. If you feel led to support, whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping Maven and his family in your prayers, it truly means more than we can put into words. Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support. It does not go unnoticed, and it is deeply appreciated.
