Our hearts are broken as we share the devastating news of the passing of Mauritzio Thornwall (Reece) On 9/24/25 . Mauritzio lost his life in a senseless, violent, and unjust act. He was only 29 years old. His Birthday was just 3 weeks out 10/18.

Mauritzio was a beloved son to Consuelo and Travis , brother, grandson and friend who touched many lives with his heart, his humor, and his loyalty. He and his brother Tomas were the glue that united three families, and losing him so suddenly has left an unimaginable hole in all of our hearts.

We are raising funds to help his mom and dad to cover funeral and memorial expenses and to give Mauritzio a resting place worthy of the love he gave. Just like when Tomas passed, our community came together to honor his life, and we are praying to do the same for Mauritzio to help ease some of the financial burden while his family grieves.
