We are heartbroken to share the tragic passing of Maurice Ed White, who lost his life on January 4, 2026, after being struck by an MTA train. His death was sudden and has left his family and loved ones devastated. With many unanswered questions, the police are working on Maurice's case. On this day, my nephew Maurice was due to meet up with my dad/his grandfather from the L line at the Bushwick Ave platform in Brooklyn, NY by 4:30 pm.

We did not find out until Monday night that he was the unidentified, man killed by the MTA train that Sunday.
