Mike lives alone, and his only income is from social security and disability, which barely cover his basic needs. He doesn't qualify for SNAP benefits, so paying for food, household bills, and especially his growing medical expenses has become overwhelming. Mike is a fall risk and uses a wheelchair, and I'm hoping to get a ramp installed to make his home safer. It's a struggle to get him down the steps into my car because he's so frail. Calling an ambulance is costly and time consuming. Every day is a balancing act, trying to make sure he has enough for groceries, utilities, and ongoing care.
I am very prideful, and it’s taken a lot for me to reach out for help. But things are pretty dire, and I know I can’t do this alone. Mike is the kindest and godliest man I’ve ever known—his faith never wavers, no matter what adversity comes our way. If there is a heaven, I truly believe he’s in. I am extremely grateful for any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time.
