Estamos recaudando fondos para apoyar a mi prima, quien está atravesando uno de los momentos más difíciles de su vida. Su hijo, Matthew, es un niño de 9 años brillante y muy cariñoso. Desde que nació, Matthew ha enfrentado retos médicos importantes. Los doctores descubrieron que tiene dextrocardia, una condición poco común en la que su corazón está ubicado del lado derecho del pecho, y con el tiempo también fue diagnosticado con estenosis pulmonar. En las últimas semanas, la salud de Matthew ha disminuido y actualmente se encuentra bajo cuidado de hospicio. Nuestra familia está haciendo todo lo posible para que esté cómodo, tranquilo y rodeado de amor. Al mismo tiempo, esto ha traído una carga económica muy fuerte para mi prima: gastos médicos que continúan acumulándose, la necesidad de prepararse para posibles arreglos funerarios, y la realidad de que en este momento se le ha hecho muy difícil trabajar con normalidad mientras cuida de su hijo. Por eso hoy pedimos apoyo para mi prima y su familia, para que puedan enfocarse en estar presentes con Matthew sin la presión constante de los gastos. We’re raising funds to support my cousin, who is going through an incredibly difficult time. Her son, Matthew, is a bright and loving 9-year-old who has faced serious medical challenges since birth. Doctors discovered Matthew has dextrocardia, a rare condition where his heart is located on the right side of his chest instead of the left. As he grew, he was also diagnosed with pulmonary stenosis, making his journey even harder. In recent weeks, Matthew’s health has declined, and he is now receiving hospice care. Our family is doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and surrounded by love. At the same time, the emotional and financial strain on my cousin has become overwhelming—ongoing medical expenses, the need to prepare for possible funeral arrangements, and the reality that she has not been able to work normally while caring for her son. That’s why we’re reaching out to our community to ask for help for my cousin and her family. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward easing this burden so she can focus on being present with Matthew during this time.
