Most of you know that we lost my dad, Matthew, this past week. He passed away very suddenly and very unexpectedly at home. My dad was the best dad we could have ever had. He taught me so many things and how to be the best version of myself every day. My dad may not have given us life, but he gave us so much love, support, and guidance along the way. He stepped in and became someone I could always count on, and I miss him every day. He came into our lives 11 years ago when he met and married my mom, and he raised us without hesitation like his own from that first day. He always showed up when we needed him and never left our side. My dad loved so many things in this world, and everyone who knew him instantly loved his energy, his smile, and definitely his laugh that could make anyone feel better. Most people knew my dad to be fun-loving and the life of any room he walked into. He had an energy that drew people to him. But anyone who really knew my dad knew that there was nothing more important than his family. Watching my mom hold us down and hold things together while quietly grieving and handling all of the responsibilities alone has made me really understand why my dad always truly loved her more than anything or anyone. No matter what the circumstances, he would always say to me how much he really loved her because she was always there for him when it really counted and when he needed her the most, no matter what. He always called her a beast at everything she did. She was his soulmate 

Now, I want to help my mom and my sisters the way my dad would have wanted me to and raised me to do. He was my best friend and the best man I could have ever hoped to have in a dad. He was my only dad, and I wish he was still here with us to give me advice, to help me be strong for my sisters and mom. Any help would mean the world to us and would help with all the unexpected expenses. We will have a celebration of life for dad very soon after we bring him home, and the way I know he would have loved. That info will be posted later this week. Thank you for any support.
