On behalf of the friends and work family of Matt Litzinger, we are asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time.

Matt unexpectedly passed away June 30th, 2026, leaving behind heartbroken family, friends, and colleagues who are struggling to come to terms with this tremendous loss.

To those who knew Matt, he was a loving spouse, devoted parent, cherished family member, loyal friend and someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His kindness, sense of humor, and generous spirit touched the lives of so many.

Matt took great pride in serving as an air traffic controller and eventually a support specialist, approaching each day with dedication, integrity, and a genuine commitment to others. The same qualities that made him exceptional in that role - calmness, compassion and dependability - were also evident in the way he lived and cared for family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.

As the family navigates the days ahead, they are also facing unexpected funeral expenses and the financial challenges that come with such a sudden loss. We have created this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden, allowing them the time and space to grieve without the added stress of financial concerns.
