My name is Patrick and I am the franchise owner of Signal 88 Security in Louisville, KY. I am starting a gofundme for two employees who were involved in a horrific car accident on 7/9/21.

Both Matt and Floyd were driving on Dixie Highway when a malfunction occurred in Matt's truck causing him to lose steering. His vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic and resulted in a high speed head-on collision. Tragically, Matt was killed instantly and Floyd suffered multiple injuries, but survived thankfully. He has a lengthy recovery ahead of him. Please consider donating any amount you are able to help families with medical bills, funeral arrangements, etc.

Matt Rushing and Floyd Cook have both been employed with me since 2018. They knew each other outside of Signal 88 and have been best friends for years. Both have been extremely valuable to my company and early on I saw potential in both of them and wanted to build around their skill sets. Matt has been an integral part of my business success and was promoted to Fleet Supervisor quickly after joining our team. His dad owns a body shop and loves to work on cars and was extremely helpful and motivated to help keep our fleet on the road. Floyd is my Operations Manager and handles all operations of the business and has been my right hand man shortly after he started.
