Support for Matt After A Serious Motorcycle Accident

On Monday, April 7, Matt Schreivogel was involved in a serious motorcycle accident and was airlifted to Flagstaff for emergency treatment. Since then, he has undergone multiple surgeries, including a below-the-knee amputation, pins and plates in his right clavicle, and pins and plates in his right hand. He also had surgery to place pins in his tibia and faces at least one more surgery to finalize the amputation. Ahead lies a long road of rehabilitation and a lifelong relationship with prosthetics.

Matt is a devoted husband, father, and small business owner. Though a trusted team member is helping keep operations running, the income is likely to be only enough to maintain the business itself and will not support the family financially during his recovery.

Jen Downey, his wife, has been traveling back and forth from Cottonwood to Flagstaff to be with Matt, while also caring for their son Griffin, who is finishing eighth grade, and their beloved pup Kota, who misses Matt very much. Jen herself has been on extended medical leave due to chronic debilitating migraines, which makes travel and being the sole provider significantly challenging. The emotional and financial strain on their family is heavy, and they could use our support more now than ever.
