A month ago Matsini Yawanawa got sick with the corona-virus and has been having a very challenging time recovering. He has a few more doctor appointments in the city and therapy so he will be in the city about 1-2 more months. We have so far covered the medical expenses and the cost for his recovery in the city and now I am asking for assistance from our community.

He needs to heal from this soon and recover his strength so he can return to his village and his family in Mutum.

Right now there is a lot of sickness from the virus, dengue, and malaria, and lots of rain and storms with the immense floods right now.
