It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Matilde Lazcano on November 7, 2025. A devoted wife and mother her passing has been a sudden and unexpected loss for her husband of 47 years and her three children. Her loss will not only be felt by her family but also her community. A deeply religious woman, Matilde was a devoted member of Grace Church for many years, dedicating her time and energy to her parish and the wider community. She helped organize one of the first Spanish-language services and led a group of first-generation Bolivians, offering guidance, friendship, and support to those building new lives in a new country.

We are setting up this fund to help cover the unexpected funeral expenses associated with this difficult time.

Funds raised will go directly towards funeral services and memorial arrangements. We have a goal of raising $10,000 to cover these costs.
