My name is Thomas DeFreitas, and I am hoping to raise some funds to defray the cost of my mom Lulu's funeral expenses. Mom died on February 12th of this year, after months of contending with various setbacks of health; ultimately, she succumbed to multiple organ failure. I am on a fixed income, and thus far, some very kind and generous help has come in, but not to the degree that one can securely hope to pay for the obsequies. I am hoping to raise $7500 through this fundraiser, a sum which represents the balance of what's due after an initial payment has been made.
