Hi, my name is Amber Worley, and I am one of Mary Katherine and Matt's closest friends. On April 16, Mary Katherine was rushed into an emergency C-section at 33 weeks after experiencing two seizures caused by eclampsia. She was intubated and admitted to the ICU, turning what should have been a joyful and carefully planned day into an unexpected medical emergency. Through it all, by God's grace, their beautiful daughter, Kambrie June, was safely welcomed into the world. Kambrie weighed 3 pounds, 10.6 ounces at birth and is currently receiving excellent care in the NICU. Doctors have shared that she will likely remain there until she reaches 38 to 40 weeks gestational age. We are incredibly thankful to share that Mary Katherine has been extubated, is out of the ICU, and is now recovering in postpartum. While there is still a long road ahead, we are praising God for His protection, provision, and the many prayers that have carried this family through these difficult days. Matt has been nothing short of amazing and remaining strong and steadfast by both Mary Katherine's and Kambrie's sides, supporting them in every way possible. As they focus on Mary Katherine's recovery and Kambrie's continued growth, the financial burden of medical expenses, travel, lodging, meals, and time away from work is beginning to add up. We would love to help ease some of that stress so they can devote their full attention to what matters most: healing and being together as a family. If you feel led to give, any amount would mean more than words can express. If you are unable to donate, your prayers are just as deeply appreciated. Please continue praying for Mary Katherine's recovery, for Kambrie to grow stronger each day, and for Matt as he continues to care for and support his girls. Thank you for your love, generosity, and prayers during this time.
