On the morning of Wednesday, November 19th heaven gained an angel. Mary Frances Barela was a strong and independent woman. She went through many trials in her life but her faith in Jesus never wavered.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Mente, and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughters, Fleurette Whitehead and Llnor Anaya and her sons, Raymond Anaya and Matthew Anaya.

Services will be scheduled sometime in the spring and a date will be announced when the time gets closer. In the meantime, Michael (grandchild) and Rachael Whitehead are asking for assistance with the the cost of cremation. We are grateful for any donations. Thank you.
