SUPPORT FOR MARY & DAN DIFFILY

Hi , my name is Mary Diffily, requesting financial assistance due to loss of employment by my husband on October 11, 2023 & medical diagnosis first for inguinal hernia surgery and bladder cancer as well. Further upcoming tests will determine in depth the severity, progression and the best treatments that prevail. Dan is going on 82 with only tonsils and cataract surgery. He is use to working 12 hour days plus the ride to & from. To his credit he's had several good job offers but due to loss of weight, strength, and severe muscle and nerve pain prevent his acceptance. Lost his job to new ownership. They bought the business but not the property. To cut costs and cover the rent at almost 11,000 per month, they let him go. He worked 38 yrs for original owner.

At first this was a good time to get his health checked out. The medical profession today is understaffed, more focused on tests than results. Time frame is severely effected. Time relates to money out of pocket. Social security helps but doesn't cut it.

Currently we are dead broke , behind on rent , bills ,car pmts, medical and will need to relocate as well. I'm 68 ,used to take care of elderly in home assistance. The last 9 months being treated for severe hypertension & loss of hearing has curtailed same.

$ 40,000 is what's projected. To cover rent ,medical expenses, monthly bills, food & relocation to down size in rent & space.

Asking our friends & others to assist when they have their own issues is incomprehensible. But our friends & family suggested it.
