Support for Mary and Evelyn Corbett and family expenses

Our dear friend Evelyn Corbett passed away on June 28th, 2025, following a prolonged illness and the death of her sister Mary about seven months before. The GoFundMe campaign established before for Mary and their family is being reactivated to help cover costs for Evelyn's funeral expenses, along with continuing nursing care support costs for their mother. An additional 14,000 dollars is being sought above the previous 36,000 dollars raised to help cover these additional costs since Evelyn's passing. As Mrs. Corbett is unable to organize a fund-raising campaign due to her age and condition, these funds are being raised on behalf of the Corbett family by Tom Tyrrell-- a close friend of the family--and transfered to Mrs. Corbett's bank account. The initial 36,000 dollars raised has already been transferred to Mrs. Corbett's account. The additional 14,000 dollar goal was recently achieved (thanks to all generous donors), and will be transferred soon to Mrs. Corbett, along with the closing out of this campaign. In the event there is unused donation money in the future, those funds are planned to be directed towards charities supported by Mary and Evelyn, in particular related to chronically ill children and animal welfare/rescue.
