It is with broken hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Marvin Johnson Sr.

He was a devoted husband, an incredible father, and the primary provider for his family. Above all else, Marvin was a family man. His greatest joy was being a father, and he worked tirelessly to provide for those he loved. His children were his pride and joy, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did.

He leaves behind his wife and their three children, including a daughter, Chanel, who is preparing to leave for college in just three weeks, as well as two younger sons, Marvin Jr. and Tobias, who are getting ready to begin a new school year. As they try to navigate this unimaginable loss, they are also facing an unexpected financial burden.

Our family is raising funds to help cover the expenses associated with bringing him home to Washington, DC, where his service will be held, as well as transportation and travel costs for his immediate family so they can be together to honor his life and say their final goodbyes.

Any remaining funds will help ease the financial strain on his family as they adjust to life without their husband and father and work toward creating stability during this difficult transition.
