We write to you today with heavy hearts seeking your compassion, support, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time for our family. Just a few nights ago, Martha and Rick were both violently attacked in their home. Both stabbed multiple times leaving them in critical condition. They both fought for their lives that night and are now working towards recovery.

To those who’ve reached out, we want to thank you for the prayers and ask that you continue to pray for them both. As you can imagine, our lives have been turned upside down by this horrifying incident. Martha and Rick are both loving people and members of the Shepherds Way church. They’re now facing a long and arduous journey of recovery. The emotional and physical toll on them is immense, and the road ahead is uncertain and challenging.
