On 9/30/25, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating house fire claimed the lives of our beloved Aida Marrero and her four precious children, Kaylee, Mathias, Aiden & Nathaniel. In one heartbreaking night, five bright lights were taken far too soon, leaving our family and community shattered.

We are creating this fundraiser to honor their memory and to help cover the many unexpected costs we now face, including funeral and memorial expenses. Losing an entire family is something we could never prepare for, emotionally or financially. All proceeds will be going to The Miller Funeral Home Inc. in Lehighton PA who will be providing the cremation services. Anything left over will go to Aida’s mother Mayra Brea and husband Matthew Wheelock.

So many people have already reached out asking how they can help. If you feel moved to contribute, any amount—large or small—will make a difference. Your support will go directly toward giving my sister Aida and her children the dignified farewell they deserve and easing the financial burden on our grieving family.
