Mark Troyer and His Family
Donation protected
On Tuesday June 4th while at work, Mark Troyer collapsed and went into full cardiac arrest. He was quickly rushed to Trumbull Memorial Hospital where they are currently determining the extent of the damage caused by lack of oxygen to his brain and other vital organs.
It has almost been a week now and the doctors know, with certainty, that Mark’s heart was weakened enough that he will need an internal defibrillator/pacemaker implanted; however, they are still waiting/hoping for neurological improvement before this device can be surgically inserted. If Mark shows neurological improvement and the device is inserted it will still, unfortunately, not allow him to return to his former employment as a carpenter framing houses, due to the physical requirements of his position.
Additionally, Mark's wife, Tiffanie, has been by his side since the incident and she has had to forgo her duties at their horse-boarding facility, Fox Chase Stables. Tiffanie has had many kind people step up to help in this time of need, including volunteers shoveling horse stalls at the barn, and people delivering delicious homemade meals. However, even with this great show of support, the outcome is still very much undecided and their journey is just beginning. This tragic event will forever change their lives and cause both personal and financial hardships.
Any help you can provide to Mark, Tiffanie, and their two sons Hayden, 16, and Harper, 12 would be greatly appreciated as they are both self employed and anytime off of work is unpaid.
