Mark Alan Andrew Smith, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2026, his 50th birthday. Born in Indianapolis, Mark was the beloved son of Barbara Smith and the late Joseph Smith. He was the devoted husband of Jamie, with whom he shared eight wonderful years of marriage, and the proud father of Drake and Brock, who were the center of his world. Mark was also a cherished brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend, whose infectious energy, quick wit, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Mark graduated from Ball State University and devoted more than 25 years to Walgreens, where he built meaningful relationships and earned the respect of colleagues. His dedication and integrity were evident in everything he did, both at work and at home. Mark's sudden passing has left his family facing not only the heartbreak of loss, but also the challenge of covering funeral costs and supporting their two young boys, Drake (5) and Brock (2), as they navigate the future without their father.
