Mark Arnet is a dedicated Connecticut state Air Guard member and a close friend of mine. Recently, Mark and his family faced an unimaginable challenge. During a routine pregnancy checkup, Mark’s wife received the devastating news that she had breast cancer. Despite the shock and fear, she bravely carried her pregnancy to term, welcomed their beautiful baby into the world, and immediately began cancer treatment.

This sudden turn of events has placed a tremendous strain on Mark’s family. With a newborn at home, the demands of cancer treatment, and only one income to rely on, they are doing their best to stay strong and hopeful. The costs of medical bills, childcare, and everyday living expenses are quickly adding up, making this already difficult time even more overwhelming.

Mark is the kind of person who would never ask for help himself, which is why I am reaching out on his behalf. I truly believe he is deserving of support from our community.
