Support in Memory of Saul Chaparro

Hi everyone, my name is Marisol. Thank you all for taking the time to send your condolences.

As many of you already know: this weekend, I lost my world—My father, Saul Chaparro. Growing up deaf, especially with parents who aren’t deaf, was never easy. But my parents did an incredible job raising me. My father was my rock, he was always there for me, even flying back and forth between Puerto Rico and New York just to be closer to me. If I ever needed it, he would always give me his last dollar without hesitation. If I needed help with certain things, he always made sure to be there for me. My father was a US Veteran and did everything he could to support his family.

I’m very heartbroken to lose him now. Just A few years ago, he fought cancer and beat it! While he was getting better over the years, there were other illnesses that came up that he unfortunately could not beat and it took him unexpectedly.

His final wish was to be buried beside his parents back home in Puerto Rico, and we are determined to honor that wish.
