Mario Rodriguez Jr. was not only my cousin, but one of my best friends. His passing has left a deep void in our lives, and his family is facing heartbreak after heartbreak. Mario was dealing with some health issues and became seriously ill, and despite every effort, his organs stopped functioning. His mother, Sandy, is now enduring unimaginable grief. Just months ago, she lost her husband, Big Mario, and recently, her grandchild. Now, she is faced with the loss of her beloved son, Mario.


Sandy has always been a pillar of strength for her family, but the weight of these losses is overwhelming. The financial strain of funeral expenses adds to the emotional burden she is carrying. Our hope is to come together to support Sandy and honor Mario’s memory by easing some of this hardship.
