Support for Marie’s Medical Journey

Marie is in need of many prayers, love, and support during this time.
On Friday 7/14/23 she was suddenly intubated at Northwestern hospital after experiencing respiratory failure. She is on multiple forms of life support including a mechanical ventilator with nitric oxide and ECMO (heart and lung bypass machine) that will help take the load off of her heart and lungs so they can rest. A chest tube was placed on each side to drain fluid and help re-inflate her lung after it had collapsed. She has been battling SLE, a form a lupus, a disease that attacks her own organs in addition to fighting a severe case of pneumonia. She remains sedated in the medical ICU at this time.
Any form of support you can provide will be greatly appreciated by her and her family! The funds raised will help with Marie’s extensive medical bills.
