My grandmother, María Elena Fernández, is the heart of our family. She has always been there for us, offering love, guidance, and support through every stage of our lives. Now, as she faces one of the most difficult moments of her life, we want to be there for her just as she has always been there for us. María Elena is currently battling breast cancer that has spread to her liver, leaving her in a very delicate condition and in urgent need of medical care. The costs of her treatments, hospital stays, and medications have quickly become overwhelming for our family. We are doing everything we can to support her, but the expenses continue to grow, and we need help to ensure she receives the care she deserves.

Beyond her illness, María Elena is a vibrant and loving person. She used to make the most delicious tlacoyos, filling our home with the comforting aroma of her cooking. Her laughter was infectious, echoing through the house and bringing joy to everyone around her. These memories remind us of her strength and the happiness she brought into our lives. We miss seeing her joyful and want to do everything possible to help her return to those moments of happiness.

I am organizing this fundraiser to help cover María Elena’s hospital bills, doctor’s fees, medications, and future treatments.
