My mom, Maria Donis, was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who always put her family first. In November 2024, she suffered a major stroke that changed everything for us. She had to undergo a difficult procedure to drain fluid from her brain and needed a tracheotomy to help her breathe. Maria was incredibly strong and fought bravely on a ventilator for 1 year and 1 month. Even with the ventilator on its highest setting, she struggled to get enough oxygen, and it was heartbreaking to watch her go through so much pain and uncertainty.

Maria was truly the best, and I miss her every single day. After months of fighting and countless hospital visits, we are now facing the unimaginable loss of someone who meant the world to us. As we try to honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves, we are reaching out for help with funeral costs and memorial services. These expenses are overwhelming, and any support would make a huge difference for our family during this incredibly tough time.
