On Saturday September 15, 2018, Margie's daughter Jemenique passed away at the age of 28. Margie was with her, off on family leave for an extended period of time as she supported her daughter through medical procedures, surgeries and hospitalizations. When not with Jem she was caring for Jelena, Jem's two year old daughter.
Margie has given so much of herself to her immediate family and her extended family. I have been a member of that extended family for more than 10 years and have witnessed first-hand her selflessness as she continued to sacrifice everything for her family, friends and job. For this reason I have created this campaign to raise funds for Margie to help cover many of the expenses she has acquired of the past few months.
Margie has given all of us so much of herself. It's time we showed her how much we appreciate her for everything she has done. Please join me in showing your support for Margie.
