Update for November 2025: Margaret Jane Wray Sames has entered home hospice, where she is being cared for by family and friends.

As some of you know, Margaret Jane Wray underwent parotid gland surgery in 2021 and it was revealed that she had salivary duct cancer. After several rounds of chemo and radiation treatments, the cancer was nowhere to be found. A couple of months ago, Margaret developed a pretty persistent cough, and decided to get some help with it. She went to the doctor, and they performed a CT Scan which proved that there was some fluid on the lungs. After removing a liter of fluid, a PET Scan was ordered at Mayo. The PET scan revealed that the cancer has reared its ugly head again, only this time it's spread to many more parts of her body. While no prognosis has been given, we're hopeful for modern medicine and God's healing that she is able to make the best of the time she has with us.
