Help for family of Chris Tyler
Donation protected
Hello fellow community. My name is Christine and I am the cousin of Margaret and Christopher Tyler, affectionately known as CT, “Captain”, or just Chris. As many know, Chris was involved in a head on collision and tragically lost his life. To say Margaret, their children, Chris’s parents and all our families are absolutely devastated is an understatement. There are really just no words.
We rejoice and Thank our Heavenly Father for keeping Summer Rose safe during the tragic wreck as she was with Daddy at the time having their special time after he picked her up from preschool that day.
Please join me in prayer as we lift the family up and pray for strength and healing in the days to come. Please pray that the other women Linaas involved in this tragedy, that she can heal and her health can be restored. Please pray for her family as they experience hard days to come.
Please pray for Brad and his mother Brenda. They were able to free Summer from the wreck and care for her until paramedics took over. Pray for their comfort, for their healing, as what they experienced that day will forever be with them.
The Tyler family is grateful for all the support that has been given by the community. We thank you for all of your gracious outpouring of love. All of the food has been a delight and so helpful.
As Margret navigates the future, we ask that you send prayers and strength for her as she delivers their son in the upcoming month. She’s almost at the finish line and we are all anxiously awaiting Silas’s arrival. If you have it in your heart to donate to this wonderful family, we thank you. As of now we don’t know the plans and the family is taking it moment by moment.

A service will be held in Winston-Salem at a later time and we will communicate those plans once made.
Thank you.
If you’ve read this far, I want to also highlight something for everyone to think about who is a parent of a young child.
Although Chris tragically lost his life, his daughter survived. Chris saved her life that day because she was buckled into her carseat correctly. Always take the time to do so. You will never regret it.
