On Saturday, November 22nd, my world changed forever when Marcus, my partner and the father of our newborn daughter, passed away at 6:59pm. Marcus was a loving, hardworking, and honest man who touched the lives of everyone he met. He worked tirelessly every day to provide for our family, and his greatest joy was coming home to us. In the year and a half we shared together, he gave me the most precious gift—our one-month-old daughter. I am so grateful for the time we had, and I will always cherish the memories we created as a family.

Right now, I am still in postpartum recovery and have not yet been cleared to return to work. Marcus handled everything financially, and with his sudden passing, I am stepping up to care for our daughter and manage our household with help from some family. With the holidays approaching, the weight of living costs and daily needs feels especially heavy. I want to make sure our daughter is safe, warm, and cared for as we navigate this difficult new chapter.
