Hello, our names are Marcus and Danielle and we are reaching out to ask for support for our brave 4 year old son, Marcus Jr.

Recently, Marcus Jr. was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, a rare and serious kidney disorder that causes his body to lose vital proteins through his urine. This has led to swelling, discomfort, fatigue, and future weight gain from medications he will need to manage his condition. Marcus was admitted to the hospital and was under constant medical supervision for his condition.

Despite everything he’s been through, Marcus remains so strong and resilient. He’s been so brave during treatments and the difficult adjustments to his daily life.

As his parents, we love him beyond words and are doing everything possible to help him. Marcus works hard to support our family, while I am caring for Marcus, his 1 year old, and 2 month old little brothers. The financial strain is beginning to grow, with missed work and traveling to specialists.

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance

• Prescription medications

• Clothing to fit Marcus’s needs due to weight

Marcus Jr. is finally home

Marcus has been in a constant on and off relapse after starting school and catching colds. He is back on medications and doing better with their help.
