My father, Marcelo Rangel, was a devoted husband and an incredible dad. He loved spending time with us—his children—and his beloved wife, Chila. He always tried so hard to make each of us happy, whether it was sharing laughter at home or making sure to stop at each of our favorite fast food spots during long road trips. His kindness, warmth, and dedication to our family made every day brighter, and his loss has left a truly devastating hole in our lives.
Since my dad’s unexpected passing on August 16, 2025, our family has been doing our best to manage, but the challenges have been overwhelming. We are now facing the difficult process of navigating legal matters related to probate, as well as handling daily living expenses and health-related costs—all without my dad’s steady support. Despite our strength and resilience, the financial barriers have been significant. Legal fees, health expenses, and the everyday costs of raising three children have quickly added up. The uncertainty of the future and the weight of these responsibilities have made this time especially hard for my mom, my siblings, and me.
We are reaching out to friends, community members, and kind-hearted strangers for help during this difficult time. Asking for support was not an easy decision, but it has become clear that we cannot do this alone. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference as we work to rebuild and find stability. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
